LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A Louisville women's basketball whose season was thought to be over is returning to the court.

Antonita Slaughter has received a clean bill of health from doctors at the Mayo Clinic nearly a month after collapsing during a game on December 3. Doctors say the blood clots in her lungs have cleared and she is no longer on blood thinners, allowing her to play.

Head coach Jeff Walz says Slaughter returned to practice Thursday and will dress for Saturday night's home game against Cincinnati.
