The United States contributed to this growth with an increase of 2.6 million people in 2024, bringing the U.S. population to 341 million. The U.S. is projected to have one birth every nine seconds and one death every 9.4 seconds. Additionally, international migration is expected to add one person to the U.S. population every 23.2 seconds. Overall, the U.S. population will grow by one person every 21.2 seconds.
