New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced today that he's signing an executive order to restore voting rights to parolees.
In a speech, Cuomo said, “In this state, when you’re released from prison and you’re on parole, you still don’t have the right to vote.”
The governor went on to say “Now how can that be? You did your time. You paid your debt. You’re released, but you still don’t have a right to vote.”
Do you agree with Governor Cuomo, that once you've done your time, you should be able to vote?
