"Things are about to get a whole lot easier." That's the word from White House COVID adviser Andy Slavitt today.
Slavitt pointed out that every American age 16 and older is now eligible to get vaccinated.
He also cited vast improvements in vaccine supplies and the number of locations offering the shots. Slavitt said 50-percent of adults in the U.S. have received at least one shot.
Meantime, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky warns new coronavirus cases and deaths are still on the rise.
