Milwaukee is hosting the 2020 Democratic National Convention. In an announcement today, DNC Chairman Tom Perez said the nomination for what will likely be the most important election in a lifetime will be selected in just 490-days. Perez selected the Wisconsin city over Houston and Miami. Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers says he feels confident that having the convention in Milwaukee will help put a Democrat in the White House. Milwaukee is the biggest city in a swing state that was won by Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election. The convention is scheduled for July 13th through the 16th.
